Press&Co. venture to guarantee all items in our care is treated with expert care and attention to achieve the best possible outcome.
In the infrequent event of loss or damage to an item, Press&Co. is obliged to pay compensation. Our guidelines indicate that a rational compensation is to be paid on the basis of allowing for wear and tear and the age of the item. As a company that has been in the industry for many years, we assume not to restrict our liability under the general law and shall so far as is reasonably practicable.
We handle all clothes, linens, furnishings and other items accepted by us for processing with proper and due care and attention.
We investigate any complaint promptly and if requested, reprocess, free of charge, any article that is unsatisfactory due to fault on our part.
We pay fair compensation for loss or damage due to negligence on our part.
We ensure to train our staff to be competent, courteous and helpful at all times.
We keep our vans, containers and premises clean and tidy at all times.
We sustain the highest possible standard of quality and service consistent with the price charged.
We display in an online format a list of prices for standard articles.
Have all orders ready or delivered at the time stated, unless prevented by exceptional circumstances.
All transactions made through our website are subject to our acceptance.
Garment prices shown on the online ordering section of the website are inclusive of VAT.
Minimum order value for online ordering is £15.00 with no standard delivery charge.
Please note that the packaging you use to send us (unless our laundry bag) your items will not be delivered back to you.
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains, but we will try our best for the finest possible result.
Online ordering is available for selected items only.
Prior to cleaning your items we will be inspecting it against your order form. In the case of a clear discrepancy, our Pressing Guru team will contact you to discuss any payment variance or the return of your items.
Collection and deliveries for this service are made directly through us. Collection and delivery slots are Monday – Sunday, 7am-7pm only. Bank holidays excluded.
Your order will automatically be returned to your collection address unless an alternative is conjured with our Gurus.
The standard service time is one business day, but longer services times will apply for specialist services including suedes, leathers, curtains and duvets.
The price for Small curtains is based on 55in x 46in. Medium Curtains; 72in x 66in and Large curtains; 90in x 90in.
When ordering laundry bags please note that coloured and white items must be supplied in separate bags. Remember to check all care instructions as w are unable to take responsibility for items that are ‘dry clean only’, ‘hand wash only’ or ‘non tumble dry’.
CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
You may make a change to an Order at any time before the collection time set out in our email acceptance of your order by telephoning our Pressing Guru team.
With your consent and at our discretion, we may make a change to your order as an alternative to cancelling it in the circumstances in the exercise of our discretion.
Where changes are made to an order under either of the preceding sub-paragraphs, we will re-issue the order confirmation to you via email.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER
You have the following limited rights to cancel an order.
You may cancel your order in the following circumstances:
At any time up to three hours before the collection time set out in our email acceptance of your order via the website or our Freephone number.
After we have collected your item(s) if we are affected by an event outside our supremacy by telephoning our Pressing Gurus.
You acknowledge that once an item has been collected from you we have begun to provide the services to you and that any rights of cancellation you may have under the Consumer Contracts Regulations or any equivalent law or regulations will be lost.
OUR RIGHTS TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER
We may cancel your order and the contract between you and us in the following circumstances:
As a result of an event outside our supremacy; or
If you fail to make Items available for collection; or
If we consider that any Item does not correspond with the order, is damaged, has no information about its content or cleaning instructions, or does not fall within those items which we accept
If we cancel your order we will contact you by phone or email and we will arrange to redeliver the item(s) to you at the original redelivery time or as soon as reasonably possible.
We do not guarantee that our site will be free from any bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform in order to access our site. You should use your own virus protection software.
We politely ask you not to misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material, which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site.
You must not harm our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our site will terminate immediately.
Standard service time for our bridal gown cleaning and preservation service is one week. However, prior to cleaning the dress, it will be inspected against the style type. In the case of a clear discrepancy Pressing Guru team will contact you to discuss any payment variance or the return of your dress. In the circumstances that additional charges may occur, the customer will need to approve these charges consequently standard service time is increased proportionately.
Wedding gowns are designed to be a one in a life time garment, worn on a special occasion. They are cleaned in a gentle process, but the age, storage conditions, nature of the marks and the construction of the fabric influence the removal of the marks. In spite of the gentle cleaning process used, beads and trims are occasionally loosened by the process and can fall off. Cleaning can sometimes highlight mark or damage not noticeable prior to cleaning.
We cannot identify all such problems listed before cleaning, but we will take the up most care to minimise them.
Our courier service will only attempt collection twice, if both collections are missed, the customer must contact us directly to arrange the collection.
